Okay - took some shots of my setup just to see how it would all look. Everything had been in the garage for the most part, until now.

    - Tank shot w/ fixture on top and no lights

    - This is with the Metal Halides on only

    - This is with the T5 actinics on (makes my camera see red all around for some reason)

    - And last of all the LED moon lights on in the light and in the dark (really bright i must say!)

Thanks everyone....I'm as anxious as you to get it filled also, but i have a lot of things on order so have been patiently waiting. Here's a shot of the live rock i will be throwing in the tank. It's been reused from my old setup:

Thanks DBOShibby - I'm going to have about 100-120lbs worth all told. I really don't want to detract from the front display too much and provide ample swimming room for the fish.

BTW - My eductors came in, so I can now start leak testing everything with some live water. I'm told these will increase flow dramatically on the returns, so hope it works so i don't need to add more powerheads for flow.

Quick update - Did a leakdown test fully filled with water....everything seems fine, but the eductors are sucking too much air from the top creating microbubbles. Have to figure out how to extend them.....the sand should be coming tomorrow or so, so hope to get some more updates soon with the tank filled with substrate and some rockwork!

Been a while for an update, as I'm mostly awaiting things I've ordered. Finally, my substrate came....180lbs of Carib-Sea oolitic aragonite sand! I know people have a hell of a time with these clouding, so I've been presoaking mine hoping to minimize it. Once my UHE unit comes, I'll start adding water and then the salt to kick things off!
