First i'll ask this question, my Nitrates and Phosphates are still at 0, but with now having Ammonia about 0.25ppm, I guess this means I will also have a Nitrite and Nitrate spike as the cycle rids the Ammomia spike? Been trying to figure out what caused this, 1st) been trying to do a snail head count. ????????? who am I trying to fool, even though I am missing 2 snails, they can be anywhere in there dead or alive, I did a smell test and my tank and skim mate smells no different. Changes! I did add the ill-fated Coral, but its coming around and looking much better, I changed my Mysis Shrimp food to Brine Shrimp and added Omega One Marine Flakes with Garlic to my fishes diet ;) I stopped doing that for now. Anyone in Minnesota want 3 fish :D

oohh! And I was forced to move some rocks around, so I disturbed the sand bed a little.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would first make sure the test results are accurate, what testing kits are you using?
Second I would make sure you're not over feeding.
The typical snail should not produce a detectable ammonia level in an established tank.
Yes moving rocks can sometimes initiate a change in ammonia levels but it would have to be a big move and leaving the rocks exposed to air. Your tank has not really been running long enough to have a lot of detritus and or uneaten food collected under the rock work.
If your corals and fish do not look stressed I would not be too concerned unless you see signs of stress to corals and fish or a trend in a climbing ammonia level.
Lastly you should probably have some Prime or equiv product on hand just in case. Some addition of a product such as MB7 probably would not hurt either.

YES Corailline, thats what prompt me to check my water other than my norm test of just Phosphates & Nitrates, seeing stress in a few Corals. Guess I will emmit the dead snail theory, I just moved 3 of my smaller rocks, I checked twice with 2 kits, both low budget test API.
Did a 25% water change this morning, I got prime that I used for my FW tank, OK i'll put in some prime.

That's why I didn't want even 3 fish, 1 would have been fine, I didn't want the hassel, just a healthy tank for Corals only, darn wife :p
