    some new pics

new pics. The first is a freebie from a fellow 3reefer. I received this frag (pic 1) on 2/24 and pics 2 and 3 are that same frag today. My hippo broke it in half one of the first days I had it and I never found the loose part but it's growing well. The fourth pic is 2/3 of a hammer colony after shippers got done with it. The last pic are my 2 torch corals, getting ready for beddy-bye time.

In the first pic, I have some random palys (I think) growing on my elegance coral. Anyone have an ID on these? In the second and third pic, my diamond goby with some of his handy work on a couple of my lobos. Fourth, a favia of some sort. Last, a scroll coral.

Great collection of coral you have there, lots of color. The polyps are button polyps.

These will be the last ones for today. A brain. A 5" favia. A piece of the 5" favia, which started out to be only the big eye and has grown the rest in about 2.5 months. Some yellow zoas. AND last but not least, my lazy duncan. I swear, this guy's never out for me to get a pic. ::)

Very nice tank. I really like that anemone. I don't believe I have seen one of those. Is it photosynthetic?

YAY thank you! I was wondering if the picture was good enough to tell. I have some more button polyps in my tank but theyre just plain brown. These are at least prettier than those. :) I assume they're not harmful to the elegance?

No, least not in any research I'd done on it... It is a sticky little guy, and not really a mover. It stayed right where I set it at the top of my tank, right in between 2-250w halides. Seems content.

Not unless they got a growing frenzy going.

Haha. Not these. Started out 1 tiny tiny tiny polyp and a year and 3 months later, there's 2.
