Very nice looking handiwork! The birdsnest is showing impressive growth. I love that naso tang, too.

    That's my next fish.

Not to hijack, but quick question...
Im looking at doing a tank of that size range in the near future. I have pretty substantial DIY experience, so I am leaning towards building the tank out myself so I can get exactly what I want. Chances are I am going to have any major cutting handled by my supplier, but that being said do you feel acrylic is an easier material then glass for this purpose? Lets assume weight isn't an issue and I am shooting for 300-400 gallons(72-84" long by 36" wide at 30"ish tall).

I have never built a glass tank yet....keyword yet lol......I always do acrylic because its what I do for a living.....glass might be cheaper imo.. thick acrylic is crazy expensive a 4x8 sheet of 1" will set you back around 500$ where glass you can probally use 1/2"....as for the fabrication purposes I think glass might be a lot easier there is a tremendous amount of work in a acrylic tank with polishing, routing, and the solvent welding gets tricky and very hard to do on the bottom and top seams......hth....feel free with any questions, I'm here to help......:)
