    I just thought I'd share this with you guys. Also, is my lighting overkill? On the left end is a 14w Flourescent that puts out nearly natural light, and on the right end is a 42w Incadescent, which acts kinda like a heating lamp for the Fiveline skink.

    Also for the botanists, I have 4-5" of organic topsoil, is this sufficient? I mist twice a day.

    looks pretty good to me! never tried to make a planted tank but i always had bearded dragons so they would prob eat it all

    Very nice, as long as the plants are happy and growing well then the lighting is good. I think the soil depth will be OK since you do not have a lot of plants. You may want to water the area around the Croton and Ficus.
