    Tank.
    210 gallon display aquarium
    DIY 55 gallon refugium.

    Lights
3x Reef Breeders 104watt Controllable LED Fixtures
4x Clear-for-Life Aquarium Light 36” fluorescent light fixtures for T5 actinic bulbs

    Filtration
Coralife Turbo Twist 12X UV Sterilizer
SKIMZ SM 201 Monzter E-Series-In-Sump Protein Skimmer

    Circulation
    2-3 mp10s or 2 mp40’s
    ReeFlo Dart/Snapper Hybrid Pump

    Heating and cooling
I will get two heaters for the refugium.
may need chiller, but I won’t worry about it until the time comes.

    Other equipment
    Tunze Osmolator Universal 3155
    Precision Marine Kalkreactor
Digital Aquatics Lifeguard Aquarium Monitor or controller

What are y'all opinions on this equipment list. It's a lot, but it would be gradual and we would only get the necessary items fist. It feels like I'm forgetting something.....Would I need a canister filter? I already have a R/O system under my sink.

the 55 is 48x13x20 it is my current display. Lighting, I figured it would close any dark areas and give it a good ambiance.(i would add the t5's after only if I think I need them) Skimmer, oops that was the wrong model, this is the right one SKIMZ SM 201 Monzter E-Series-In-Sump Protein Skimmer. I was thinking the the lifeguard over the tunze anyways...it's pretty much the same price and it had mobile updates which is super cool because I'm gone a lot. We put the R/O system for a our 55gallon so it's what I need, it has a 5 gallon hold tank as well but our ice maker in the fridge uses most of it so I may have to beef it up or get a separate system just for the tank.

skimmer and the lighting makes sense to me.

yea the life guard definatly makes more sense to me.

the RO unit just dosent sound right to me though, I would make sure by putting a TDS meter to it before I made a decision though.

somthing you might want to look into is a set of hanna checkers of you like testing some of teh other suff like phosphate, cal,but i would see if teh controller can test that before I bought them.

Trust me the R/O is the right unit ;) we bought it a few years back just for the aquarium. We have it attached to our Refrigerator and there is a small Faucet thing by the sink. We have to fill gallon jugs and than top off the tank though. it's very inefficient. If i set this system up it will be in a different room so i should be able to run a line directly into the tank. Yeah I didn't include testers in this list, but they are on there if not visibly lol. The only other piece of the puzzle I can think of right now would be a calcium reactor, since I'm gone a lot would it be wise to add one?

as long as you happy with it roll with it, my other though is will it produce enough a day for a syatem that big. mine does 75 GPD and I think its to slow :p

all that being said it sounds like you have a good start, will you do sand or BB?

It's really slow but, I think it can produce about 150 gallons a day. I'll have to check on that, it has three different cylinder filters and some glass thing that has sand in it lol.

I will go sand for sure, i just like the complete look of sand and i want some jawfish lol. I want a finer sand because in our tank it is more like crushed coral and It has a dirty rubble look.

oolight is a good choice then I have it in mine and you can get that type of fine sand fairly esy around here. there is a guy on Ebay that sells it and you can get 200+ lbs of it at a time for right around 150+ and thats with shipping. I used the carasea oolight stuff and love teh way it looks.
