well one of my clarkii clowns (the female and biggest) got into a fight with my atl blue tang that has all of a sudden gotten a major attitude. her eye was damaged and popped out like shes she has pop eye, so we pulled her from the tank yesterday and she went into the store for some rnr.

 

Sorry to hear that, clarkis are definitely agressive, ive seen them pick fights with way bigger fish lol

 

as a whole they generally are lol but i guess my tang is badder !

 

been fighting the dredded bryopsis... ordered a 64 oz bottle of kent tech m which seems to be the prescribed treatment.im on day 2 and have yet to see any real differen dnt thing the prescribed instructions for dosing will raise the levels fast enuf. would take like a month is my calculations are correct so day i decided to take a chance and up the dosage a bit, with monitoring my levels of course.
dosed for 200 (4 cap fulls of 64 oz bottle 10 ml's each) gallons yesterday before even testing ( crazy i know) but had a feeling my levels were low. amazing diff tho, my lps mainly brains almost instant response alot happier then they have been past few months. 10 xs fuller pics to come.
today I did 5 cap fulls @ 10 ml's each. and will test today and look for visuals on bryopsis.

 

I almost feel your pain. I got something growing in my tank also but it seems like my snails or fish started kicking in. As for clarkii's, I am sorry for the injury but glad I got rid of mine because they were trying to take over my old tank.

ok so i noticed a major dent today, after seeing what seemed like no prgoress. Ive got 4 tangs, not sure how much they have had to do with the equation.
atl blut tang
naso (have seen and had great luck with eating bryopsis in the past with them)
elibi tang
achillies tang.
have been amping mg with kent tech m. and just tested water now that Ive had a chance to slow down, with working the way I have been.

over shot my target for mg but have seen very lil in the way of damage to corals. jus have had some of my acans get a lil transparent. Instead of doing a wc i think ima allow my tank to use to mg to proper levels as my tank seems to deplete in on a regular basis.
I have noticed a blue green algae bloom but i think its due to me feeding frozen food.
