ive only primarily dosed kalk in my top off and have always had great success in the past, we all know the pros and cons of it. I stoped for a while and started dosinf esv 2 part.
dnt really wana go the ca reactor way, have been tossing around the idea of using kalk stirrer instead to keep up with demand. I just dnt have room for a C02 bottle and guages .
so well see what happens and which route i choose to go.

 

I understand, I don't like the idea of adding CO2 to the system. I am learning to do 2 part right now, I think I will have my doses figured out soon. May try kalk in the future.

 

kalk is the shizz, stable ph ca and alk in my tank and all i do is add a teaspoon to a gallon of ro and let it ride through out the day

 

I'll need to get a dosing pump then. Two part is difficult to keep steady until you get there from what I have heard and from experience. Thanks for the info.

 

ive been hunting a dual doser myself i just cant bring myslef to drop coin on it, but i can drop it all on coral lol. makes no sense wat so ever.
