ok now that im back from the gym lol, this is the plan, i am going to move the tank down stairs (the 150) and sell it and take everything in it and try to move it all to the 215 in a day, ive done this before except for a 55 gallon to a 150 so this should go smoother with the water volume differences being less drastic as last time. the tank will be 6ft long still, but 2 ft wide and 30" tall so i will have some interesting aquascaping possiblilities i hope.

i will be making the stand and canopy like i did with the last one, since i am only buying the tank by its self. with the upgrad i was concerned with 2 factors, 1. the electricity usage, and 2. the number of water changes that i would have to do, but since by 150 has a 55 gallon refugium and a 20 gallon sump that puts the water volume roughly at 220 gallons cause the 20 is only 3/4's full, so its not much more water volume so i can continue with my current water change scheduals, and the electricity part i am going to try to keep most things the same and possiblily conserve energy in other places...the light will still be 2x250 watt MH, and 2 4ft. 40 watt actinic bulbs, since the tank is still 6 ft like the 150. but i am in the process of purchasing 2 luminarc mini's so that will give enough light in the tank, considering i will only be keeping LPS and sofites on only monti caps for the SPS area.

i have a euroreef cs- 8-3 recirculating skimmer on my tank right now so i am still debating on if i am going to change that now, but i will have to see...does any one have a pump recomendation that is silent and doesnt use hardly any energy that would work for a return pump??? its going to be roughly 5-5 1/2feet of head pressure.

so, i am ordering my AC JR. w/ temp prob. and ph prob and a dc8 (i think thats what its called), as well as 2 luminarc mini's for my 2 250 watt MH, i am not putting 3 on them because i dont want a much higher PG&E bill, its already costing a crazy amount! lol.
