    up and running I see! nice looking piles you got there. I wanted to do something like that but I had too much rock and they were too big of pieces.

    i keep telling u bruh ur not gona have a cycle on rock that has been set up the way you have done yours. if sand is live u may have a small one there is all, and again have a good and very safe birthday weekend !

    Was that rock out of another tank that had been running? if so, the Ant is right! I barely saw any spike or cycle on my 180. it had the clown and goby in it from day 1, and neither showed any stress or anything. now have the two monsters in there and they are fine... that said, if you dont put anything in there to continually feed the bacteria, then they will die off and you will see a cycle.

    some of the rock was outa his other tank, and the other rock hes had in a tank with a skimmer for like 2 to 3 months

    Been following your thread. I really like the two-island rockscape and am digging the black sand!
