Well the tank is a little over a month old so it was bound to happen. I have the cuc in there so i hope it goes away. I might add an algae blenny to help it out.

Those diatoms will clear up on their own accord Reefbruh - in 3 - 6 weeks your tank will look brand new again

CUC - good idea as they can start work on preventing more permenant strains of algae gaining a foothold

Algae Blenny - probably to early to add that, IMO - you need more green on the rocks and the glass before adding these fish IME

I can only agree with Steve... too early to add Algea Blennies. Just wait a bit.

I know. I am doing the patience thing. I am going to wait a while before I add the blenny. Maybe in November. But that's way off from now.

    1st Bad Day

I know there are ups and downs when it comes to this hobby. Other than loosing some chromis which is a given, I lost one of my TR B&W percula clowns and came back to a semi flooded floor. Somehow the power went out and my sump over flooded but thanks to the person on this site I cant remember. If I didn't take his idea and put that shower floor mat under my stand and tack the sides up it could have been a whole lot worse. I thank you for that advice. It just sucks that I cant remember who suggested it.
