Sir, yes it is. And he is healthy and fat. I saw that one on Live Aquaria. But it was on craigslist for about a month. It was originally for about 500 but i got it for 300. He is a good 6 - 8 inches atleast.

Its amazing how far your tank has come in such a short period of time... Wasn't sure about the black sand - but saw it in person. One of the tanks in a LFS had a black sand tank and now Im in love with it and will consider it for my new 180. Any problems or things you don't like about it now that you have had the tank up and running for a while?

I might have to start a quarantine tank soon... now that I had a taste of pulling my tank a part to catch a fish. Do you keep the quarantine tank up and running all the time?

DDDAAANNNGG!!!! Nice fish there sir! What happened to that Achilles you had in that QT? did it already make it to the display? Good looking new additions though... I also see that blonde Naso in there too. I know you were wanting one of those...

Thanks. I believe that if I hadn't had the rock already cured and had more rock from my old 125 I can honestly say that I wouldn't be where I am now. I love the black sand. Yes there are some speckles but the sand sifting cucumber, stars, nassarius snails and gobies keep that in check.

As for my qt tank yes i keep it running. I qt my fish for two weeks before i put them in the DT. I keep a chromis in the qt so i don't lose any bacteria. I don't think that came out right but its there for positive reasons.

Believe it or not the black tang was not on the stocking list. But when I saw it on craigslist for the price he had it, that was a no brainer. Yes I moved the achilles into the DT because he was nipping at the naso. Now I have to watch the sohal so he dont mess with the achilles. Yes he was the last one on the list. So once everyone gets happy and i get my salinity up i will continue with the corals.

Thats a great deal, my LFS said they could get me one for $350, which was what there cost would be. I am sure that wouldnt be one as big as yours. That truely is an awesome fish. Your tank gonna have a very impressive tank on your hands sir. Great choices on fish. Cant wait for videos when they all hit the display tank.

    Update

Originally moved the Achilles in the DT because he started going after the Ceylon Naso. But the Sohal went after the Achilles in the DT and now hit top fins has some damage. I am not gonna treat the tank unless it gets worse. I believe in doing it the natural way of healing. Hasn't failed me yet.

Then when I added the Black Tang into the QT, the Desjardini decided to go after him. And realizing how much bigger he looked, I had no choice but to add both of them to the DT. Of course now the Sohal is challenging the Desjardini but doesn't mess with the Achilles anymore, for now. The Achilles hangs with the Black Tang now and reacquainted himself with the Desjardini. I will keep the lights off a couple days to relieve the stress.
