    Tank Parameters

OK, I am in a fix. These are my parameters. Nothing has changed. My routine has been the same. I don't know what the deal is. I'm about to change religion.

    6 Nov 2010 13 Nov 2010 20 Nov 2010

    SG 1.026 1.024 1.023
    Alk 3.43 2.60 3.80
    Nitrates 4.4 5.5 26.4
    Phosphates .31 .43 .67
    Calcium 400 480 510
    Magnesium 1500 1250 1200

I will cut my feedings to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Looks like 30 gallon water changes weekly until they drop. Will start the Vodka treatments from the beginning even though I never stopped. Do I start from scratch?

I got them from my LFS. I originally wanted the blue ones but when the golden ones showed up I couldn't turn those down.

I am back from the depths of the sea

I am sorry for being gone or AWOL as we call it but weird things have been happening in my life and my tank. I lost mostly all my LPS's from bad tank parameters to just weird things happening for no reason and just not adding up. So there are some changes and I am awaiting for my parameters to get back to where they are suppose to be. So here is my tank at 4 months. Enjoy;););););)

I was wondering what happened to you!!! Sorry about all your losses. I hope things get back on track soon for ya. The tank looks great! I didn't know you had an eel. Creepy, but cool! :)

I have a tendency to where if I am bothered I cut everyone off until I get the situation resolved. I am sorry to be away for so long. I love that eel. They are hard to keep but when he is swimming he looks like a black ribbon with a yellow top. So far he is eating only frozen but has attacked a couple of my fish. I probably will acclimate some mollys in there so it will keep him fed if I am away for long periods.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You really have some nice fish! The skunk clowns are awesome. I like the dark substate is makes the fish's colors pop like the gramma. Of course the black tang is quite the fish, he certainly looks healthy.

Thank you. I tried the skunk clowns because you hardly see them. I love the black sand because i wanted those colors to pop. The black tang is healthy and the steal of the century.

    Ceylon Naso Found Dead

I came to my tank once the lights came on and watching everything i noticed someone was missing. So I started counting and all are present and accounted for except my blond naso. So I am searching and searching and to my surprise, he is stuck up against my Seio pump. He is practically the same color as the pump and there he was sucked up against it. I guess you could say he got the life sucked out of him considering the fact he was eating like a hog. But the good news is I saved a bunch of money switching to Geico.
