There are only 12 LEDs that I am using. Yes I am only using them as actinics.

I just got my kit from rapid today. I got the 12 led kit too. I'm wondering if I should have got more but after seeing your tank, I feel a bit better. Were you able to get some daytime pics?

I will be doing that today. I was thinking I should have gotten the dimming kit but considering the spread i have and plus the leds are about 12 - 15 inches above the water column, i was impressed with the royals.

    Looking good Bruh!

Tell you what, it's a good sign when your camera cannot even capture the colors that the light is putting out!!!

I think you and your corals are going to love your newest addition!!!

I went back and forth on the dimmer kit for like two weeks. Hope I don't regret it but I plan on expanding anyway so if I need it I will just get one. I'm glad yours came out so nice. Can't wait to get mine done this weekend.
Off topic, what skimmer are you using?

The pics are from my Droid. My daughter has my real camera. But the colors are killer. It is showing in the corals already.

I am glad that mine did come out nice. I was scared to do the project because of my injury and was going to pay someone. So I busted out the old reading glasses and finished it in about an hour. The skimmer I am using is called an i-TECH 200.
