My 225 Gallon Set-up

Well I am having my sump/refugium built and it should be here between Friday and middle next week. The reeflo dart pump I bought is useless because it has a 1 1/2 inch return. My tank is ole school and the return lines are 1/2 inch. So now I have to try another pump. I did the final leak test and no leaks. I just have to wait for the arrival of the sump to do secondary leak and dry run.

The stand and canopy came out great...well done. So where are you getting your sump/fuge built at and what is the size? I was going to buy one myself but decided to DIY.

I went to a local distributor here that use to make acrylic tanks some time ago and couldn't keep up with the competition. Now they are starting to build sumps and protein skimmers. The dimensions of the sump/fuge is 48" x 18" x 20". The refugium dimensions are 36" x 12" x 15". I had the 80 gallon sump replicated from Melevsreef. I had to adjust the dimensions because the inside of the stand is only 19 inches wide.

 

Sump and pump came in today.
