i finally got some pics of my tank. it is a 240 gal. its in progress now it is a little dirty ive been working in it the last few days.will be awile before its all up and going. It will then be the new home for my lion fish. I just put 80 lbs. of crushed coralin it (that did not go very far at all) and i hade a post not long ago about sand or CC, you were all a lot of help and i decided to do the rest of it in sand. i still have about 40 or 50 lbs. of LR [IMG]that will be in there soon. Let me know what you think, and any suggestions, thanks

This is gonna be sweet! :) That's a big net along with the huge tank in front. I'll be following along with his build. +1 on the sand, apposed to CC.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I am jealous I really like shallow tanks, it would make a perfect frag tank.

Your lionfish is going to love it.

    Following along.

i still have a lot of work to do, i built the stand and i still have to finish, it is just the frame right now. i am going to build shelfs on both sides, and a top to enclose the lights, it will be a long while. but i need to go slow and do it right.

nice looking tank and gl on the build. i just wanted to point out that alot of ppl are pry going to about the stand. It looks to me as if the nails or screws are bearing the wieght. If so i would change that before you get any farther cause i herd they might not hold very well :-/.
