Yeah it looks really sweet, thanks. I'm uploading the video on youtube so i'll put the link on here. I don't have a digital camera so I tried taking pics with my cell and my camcorder but they just come out over exposed. It should be done in an hour. I love this fixture because I can finally control the blues and whites separately. The only thing that sucks is one of the potentiometers is messed up and reefledlights isn't responding. So we'll see what happens.

Here is the video. The camcorder doesn't catch the led color well, but the 30 watt leds are super bright and I hope I don't burn my fishes eyes out. I would say it is as bright if not a bit brighter than my 2 250 watt halides that were on this tank before. If the video doesn't work below click on the other link. You can also see a video in my youtube called vortech mp40. It has my old lighting in it and you can compare the brightness. 30 watt high power led reef tank lighting - YouTube

Here ya go, you only need what comes after v= in the url on youtube. I would LOVE to see PAR readings on that setup. It looks like it has good coverage in the video. Would be interested to see how even it really is. Either way I like the setup, nice job.

Hey thanks for that insanepain. Yeah it would be interesting to see the par readings, maybe sometime in the future i'll find somewhere I can borrow one. The coverage is good with this setup but i'm also not using any optics. This tank is currently in my parents house but I have a 125g sitting in my basement at my house for the past year waiting to get set up, just planning on moving so the tank will be sitting until the house is sold. These led fixtures were built for the 125 because i'm planning on doing 3 "rock towers" that will be right under these led's. Then I will probably put some optics on and narrow down the spread for the clams and sps I plan to keep.
