I found a retro fit 55watt PC fixture that would fit under my hood and after some modification I was able to upgrade my attinic lighting from 18watts to 73watts I just cut the MH reflectors back then instaled a 2x4 riped down to 3 inches into the center of the hood and screwed the reflector and fixture down to the center of the hood.

I'd love to see an updated pic of the tank with that light.

hey wfo, i got the same tank as you but with out the sweet lights, i was wondering what kind of filter your running, and how much flow you got. how much LS,LR. what do you have as far as live stock. its great to find someone with a similar setup, and a nice one too. What kind of troubles did you have with the tank if any.
by the way nice lights karma to you for fitting that much light in such a small irregular shape.( this is were im stuck as to what lights to get)

The corals love it, and the coralline growth will really take off under the added attnic lighting. I will take a few pics and post them as soon as I can.

    Thank-you,
For filtration I mainly depend on lots of flow, tons of LR a DSB and a good skimmer. I do run an empty AquaClear 70 only to be able to put a carbon bag in evey once in a while. I also have a Phos-Ban reactor hooked up to the system.
For flow I have a total of 2120GPH running 1800gph of it on a wave maker CPU from three 600gph powerheads.
For Live sand I have 60lbs and live rock I have approx. 80lbs
For Live stock I have - two true percs, two firefish gobies, one engineer goby, one lawn mower blenny and one cleaner shrimp for a clean-up crew I have five hermits, a sand sifting star and a urchan.
    And various corals mainly LPS.

As for dealing with the shape of the tank it's self, the hardest thing for me was providing sufficient lighting over the tank with out haging it over an open tank. This is due to the fact that it's in my bedroom and I wanted minimum light leak into the room. Also providing a sump and fuge was difficult because of lack of space in the stand.
Other than that I love the shape and found it rather easy to aquascape.
