My 40 gallon breeder transfer, 6 months later

    6 months ago, I transfered everything from my 29 bowfront, to my 40 gallon breeder. It's not the best, but it is comming along. The only problem I have is the brown and purple algea I keep getting on my sand. I doesn't grow anywhere else. I guess I will just let it run it's course

    The two corals you can't remember are Duncans on the left and toadstool on the right. The tanks looks great.

    The algae in the sand is cyano bacteria. You will need to siphon the sand often to remove the bacteria and their food source.

    I clean my sand when I do my water change every week.
