    hows the mag 7, think its more than enough, or would you have gone mag 9

    I have it dialed back to about half so i think that it is good. But I would like the mag9 so i could run reactors off of the return too. I have enough for gfo and carbon, but could use a tad more to run pellets.

    Im pretty happy with the pump, its been nothing but reliable.

    I originally set up my tank i put it in the bar area and now im discovering that i dont go back there as often as I thought I would. As a result im seeing my tank less and less and neglecting it as well. Nothing bad has happened, just dont see it as often as I would like.

    So i moved it to the living room where i spend a good portion of my time.


    got tired of sand, went BB.

    Thanks, im very happy with how it turned out. took longer than i anticipated, but thats how it is when dealing with saltwater tanks.

    Its been awhile, here is an update

    Added sand because i was getting sick of the dirty look i would get on the bare bottom.

    Added a 5 gallon fuge with LR and Chaeto.

    Friend brought me some frags yesterday. red digi, ponape birdsnest, green pocillopora, and red monti. They fully opened within minutes for the most part. My phone with the good camera broke so i will try and snap a few pics with a point and shoot tonight.
