So i figured id use this to keep track of everything goin on in my tank.. I lost my radiant wrasse a couple days ago to a sand sifting star... bummer.. other then that livestocks looking great.. just did a water change today.. and here are my parameters for this evenin..

Ammonia - 0-.6 (lowest on chart)

Nitrite - 0.1 (lowest on chart)

Nitrate - 0-5 (Barely comes up on test)

PH- 7.5-8 ( A little low, but ive been using a buffer to try and bring it up slowly)

Calcium- 540 ppm ( I think this is good, im not sure exactly haha)

KH - 270 ( i know this is really high, but ive recently switched from tap water to distilled bottled water, would of gone to R/O but i cant find a place in town that sells it. Also the buffer im using to raise my PH I have been told that it will raise the KH as well, so that on top of tap water hopefully explains it.. And hopefully switching to distilled will slowly bring it down)

    Phosphates - .25

I use all Hagen Test kits..
Im feeding with Flakes, Pellets and a few different frozen foods..
I have at the time 4 hermits, 10 Nirate snails, 1 Mexican turbo ( lost one while at work it fell over didnt get to it in time i guess) purple serpent star.
Im working on finding some nass snails to clean up my sand bed.. but i cant find any in my area(northern ontario)

I have two black n white clowns (waylon & Margaret ) , one firefish (Maximus Gobious or Gobs) and 1 blue spotted watchman goby ( Shwinesteiger).

Small Mushroom Colony, Small Button Polyps, Hammer .. or Frogspawn.... not exactly sure which one it is lol, and a goniopora ( might be trading it in at LFS because im not sure if i can take care it properly)

Something to keep an eye on, small patch of GHA on one rock.

Ill put up some current pics of the tank and post some every once in awhile..

nice looking set up Zegermans 13

what have you got in the Ehiem cannister filter?
are you using any GFO? as that would help with your PO4 reading and will help to combat the algae issue IME
