    yeah i hope it adds a good look to my tank, i dont like that dense stuff you buy at petco.

    Isn't rock in general "dense"? I know some is more porous, but it all depends on what kind you get as well.

    well take a look at the rock i have in my tank now, not much right? it actually all together weighs seven pounds, whereas that tank could be full of a nice porous rock and weigh the same amount. it has to do alot with water displacement. and total volume.

    If it was more porous and weighed the same, it would take up more room. Just saying lol. You just elaborated what I said lol.

    yeah thats what i meant to say. i want the highest possible volume of water in my tank, and switching over to these rocks will save me like half a gallon of water.

    That looks awesome. How hard is it to keep the water quality up? How often do you hav to do water changes. I'm wanting to setup one at my work but there is not a lot of room there.

    Agreed! I had to sell mine because it was a hassle to keep picking up branches every morning. Very pretty but very annoying. Nice tank btw
