My 55 gallon build im 14

Im doing this because i was introduced to this by my uncle a year ago and i already know more then him.Im going with a 55gallon tank with one T5 light. Live sand helps it cycle faster so im also going with that.i mightput protein skimmer im on the iffy side cuz im on a budget since im 14 lol but im make 150$ a week so by now i have 2000$since the start of the year. So ifu have any ideas im more than welcome to change something so please just post whats on your mind.

Im also getting someone to do the carpentry i would like to get the marineland canister the 55 gallon one.also i have questions wats a closed loop system. Wat does a sump do and watswavemaker.plz post back to me i really want to learn more also wat does a protein skimmer do i know a little aboutit but not alot ok thanks for your support.

Also wat are good fish to put in a 55 i wana get a little shark or a tessla eel but ive been told that if u put a tessla its a tessla only tank and thats not wat i want is this true and also could u answer those questions thank u.

 

Btw the for 55gallon is that an ok budget or is it possible that i may over spend.

Btw i have a 40 gallon already setup with a flame angel snowflake moray eel and a yellow tang also a starfish.

 

a closed loop dos the same thing as a power head its for water circulation you have to have a drilled tank for this in most cases,

a sump adds to water volume and is a place for skimmers and heaters and other filters so that you don't have them in the tank,

a wave maker is a type of a timmer that turns two or more pumps on and off in a short time pried and gives flow from different directions .
