It's not exactly possible for someone to get to male clownfish and then KEEP two male clownfish, if they are a bonded pair. One will show dominance over the other if they pair up, and then become female.

I want to say this is a legit person with a legit aquarium. But you never even said that you bought your supplies, and now you are already trying to breed clarki clownfish? What happened to cycling a tank? Live rock? Sand? And all of your questions about skimmers and such.

 

ive just read this whole thing. my head is spinning. lol. the idiot call was totally uncalled for. and amcarrig is right , people will be a lot less helpful and rightly so. and being a youngster snowflake, i know everything shoulda happened yesterday, but seriously take the good advice from your fellow aquarists bursting with knowledge and caring, and slow down. the slow build is much more rewarding and safe.

Ugh u guys r rude my 40 gallon has been set up for like 8 months

 

The reason I wanted to know was because that is a lot of livestock for a 40 gallon tank, at some point as the fish grow you will most likely experience problems, such as parameters being out of wack.

Also, people here aren't rude, the way you post though is very chaotic and it's hard to follow. I know your 14, but using all sorts of abbreviations, slang and pop culture language usage makes it hard for a lot of people to follow what your saying. Calling somebody an idiot also doesn't help. We would all love to help you as you build your tank.

 

Also, if you haven't been reading our replies to your questions, we've been asking you questions of our own.

I highly recommend typing a reply that is more than one sentence long. We can help you all the more after you help us figure things out.

 

It's been a little over a week since I logged in...I'm not sure if I'm glad, or disappointed this is over...it was really quite entertaining. Perhaps it's a wandering troll?
