Nice looking tank so far, but you may want to try to remove the GHA, at least the dead stuff so it doesn't decay in the tank and release back nutrients into the tank.

I have the same stuff in my tank and think its from light bleeding through a window. I've hung a blanket up over the blinds to see if it stops coming back.

Sorry, I can't go along with everyone saying the tank looks good. Yes, the coral of course are nice, however, at 10 months the tank should have gotten, or should I say, you should have gotten the cyano and Hair algae under control. Over feeding, poor maintenence and weak lighting are probably the issues here.
I am not trying to be too hard on you, I want you to succeed.
Why don't you give us some basic information, Basic information should include; all water parameters(Calcium,Magnesium,Alkalinity,Ph and Nitrate and Phosphate levels) along with Temp. of your tank and Sg (specific gravity).Size of tank and complete set up meaning, filter type (sump, canister etc.), if you use a skimmer, lighting (what type and total output)plus what type of lighting are you using and what is your lighting schedule (how long a period are your actinic and daylights on).

it could be from natural light, but the bacteria will starve and die if there are no nutrients floating in the tank.

my NO3 was high and as well as my calcium. my alk is low due to the high calcium level. The redslime is on the left were natural light from the window hits it. I am scrubbing all the GHA off the back now, it will probably just grown back....
