    looking good so far, but its been like 6 hours, some of that rock should be in that tank now LOL

    all the rock on the floor is dry. The rock that is in the bucket has been in there for a few weeks. Is it still good to use to seed my DT? There is one hermie living in there.

    Yeah, as long as you have like a heater in there and maybe a powerhead...

    I housed about 60lbs of liverock in a 30g trash can with just a heater and a powerhead for about 3-4 weeks and it was fine!

    Has the water been kept at about 76F with flow as well as adding some stuff to decay in the bucket? If not, odds are you will need a fresh piece to seed your tank.

    update: Im gonna tear everything down:cry: remove the egg crate, add my sand, and rebuild. I will post pics as soon as i am done with that step.

    Unfortunately not. I had a powerhead in there for a while, however with evaporation the pump became exposed to air and burned out into a puff of smoke. Luckily I was here when that happen. Not sure what u mean by decay....food I am guessing? The water has gotten pretty cold. Guess I be going to the LFS.

    So I had put in all my rock, however I will be tearing it down, removing the egg crate, adding sand and rebuilding:-/
