Thanks! The LED is actually a Beamsworks..but it has the same number of LEDs and watts as the reef capable Marineland. I have had no issues yet!

Alright guys, tank up and running for 6 months now.
    Everything is growing well.
I have kenya trees and xenia spreading like weeds, I have had to cut back the xenia.

I added 5 new types of acropora and a few other corals.

This past week I installed a JBJ ATO and a BRS GFO reactor! Makes life a lot easier.

Great tank. Please please please please rehome the sailfin. They get so large and need at least 6 feet to swim. I have never once seen a tang that large stay in a 55 for very long.

Kole tang would have been my choice.

Great algae eaters and very cute.

Im planning to upgrade to a large tank in the next few months. I still feel like he is comfortable and have had no issues with him...I do know how big he will get.

Ok. Not trying to be a tang police :) just a concerned civilian.

From experience it will be a sudden issue as far as stress goes. Idk what it is but something in their head it clicks that they are going to be too large and get sudden illness. Ich most commonly.

I call it tang claustrophobi-ich lol.
