So my female clownfish is being very aggressive to my blood red shrimp all of a sudden. BRS has hung out under this rock behind the anemone since i got them both, together, and now the clown runs it off and when he is sitting on my zoa rock out in the open, he kinda stands his ground and she still pokes at him. I don't know what is going on or if there is anything I can do about it. Anyone else have something like this happen before? The clowns have been in the tank a year and the BRS about 4 months.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Well after about 2 years together my clowns one decided to rip my Fire Shimp limb from limb, I tried to intervene but it was too late. Not much you can do but remove one or the other. A spawning pair will be especially aggressive towards any invert that wanders into the clowns territory.

The white spots are either light shock or alk swings, in my experience.

So the white spots on my new coral frags is almost all colored back up. Still don't know what caused it and probably never will.

I ordered a Reef Angel controller which should be here on Friday so i am pretty excited to get that up and running.

Only other thing going on is me thinking i need a bigger tank. ;)

Got the reef angel controller today. Took me about an hour to unbox, hook up, setup a custom code with the wizard and upload it.

I dont have my lights hooked up to it yet because i didn't want to run the wire under the house today. It did take about an extra 10 minutes to calibrate the pH probe.

So far, i am very happy with the controller.
