    you could order from marco rocks or bulk reef supply and get a good deal on base rock that wouldnt possibly cause a mini cycle or have and unwanted hitchhikers

    yea, what i normaly do is set up a lil tank and let the rock sit there for about 2-3 weeks and inspect the rock everyday for stuff like that and if i see somthing i remove it from the rock so i know i dont have unwated stuff lol

    You don't have to use a tank you can just use a large Rubbermaid container.
