Yeah T5 with Moon LEDs

 

Forgot add. I got my clownfish in today. They seem to stay toward the top of the tank. Is this normal? I figured they would head straight to the rock and hide but they didn't. Hopefully I can get better pics when they settle down.

 

Nice set up. Landscape looks great. I run T5's just watch the water temp.

I wouldn't worry about the clowns.....I don't think one can really predict clown behavior -they are pretty unpredictable in their behavior - one of the reasons they are so cool....

 

Update

I haven't done an update in a while so figured I would knock one out. Changed my bulbs out with ATIs. Huge difference. My GBTA got super green. The Buttons went crazy and so did the glove polyps. So I picked up a few more coral frags.;D

 

All of them are doing pretty good. Although my GBTA and Galaxea got in to a turf war. The GBTA lost and ended up biting the bullet. The Zoas are spreading on the rock and doing good.

 

Also picked up a ricordia. Wife talked me into Sebae and so far he is doing good. Got to quit taking her to the LFS b/c she could spend more than I do. Plus I like to research before I throw something in my tank. As for fish, I got a Flame angel. I really liked that fish. Also got a lawnmower blenny and a Yellow fin fairy wrasse. Shortly after I got the Wrasse, I woke up to a flame angle with white spots. Immediate QT and started treating her for parasites. She lasted another week and then was gone.

 

Most recent thing we have added has been a Clam. Wife saw one at the LFS and wanted it. I told her it was too soon since we just added a fish the week before but next time they had one we would get it. Well wouldn't you know a couple of weeks later they have one. and it was $10 more than the last time. Good thing they give me a military discount. I did end up rehoming my yellow Tang b/c she was harassing my clowns. Didn't realize how much algae she ate. I have had little spots popping up every since she left. I am about ready to get another tang although a small one and let it eat till it gets to big and then rehome or get a bigger tank.
