    The bean overflow is THE ONLY WAY TO GO. You wont have any complaints there.

    I also am running a 20 high for my sump as well. It isnt what I REALLY wanted. But it does work nonetheless.

    The stand looks pretty good. Don't see anything wrong with your design. Wish I would've went with that design instead of the way I built mine, but you live you learn.

    Thanks everyone! so last night i had my first real disaster, I was water testing my sump and apparently my acrylic was a bit too snug and as it expanded, it shattered the tank, so im back to square one on the sump:-[. Now some of you may be curious about the expansion and why...I used hot water to test everything, i read somewhere to do this so that in the event of expansion due to hot water from a failed heater or something like that you'll know if your tank will blow out...got my answer:p... I guess its all just a learning experience!

    No problem. I had to learn a lot of this stuff during my build too. It helps when youu can get resonses from people when you post, that's why I try to help whenever I can. You are definitely going the best route for your setup. I couldn't be happier with how mine turned out.

    heres what i run now, cant wait to get all these into the big tank! Not the best pic, its a top view, maybe if you want more i can do better, but this tank is what started this obsession ;D

    just a small update, ive finished the stand to the point where i just need to build and finish the panel doors (no hinges). The DT is nicely resealed, and tonight ill be placing the overflow so that next week i can water test it and make sure it holds:worried2:, today ill be headed to my lfs for a new 20 gal for my sump since last week the one i had built shattered...anyway heres some pics of my progress
