    Do those LEDs get hot? Those are some big heat sinks!

    at full power the heat sinks hit about 115f but really full power may be too much imo.

    what you see in the pics is about 60% of light capacity. Set at that level the heat sinks stay at about 80f...

    thanks everybody on the compliments, i was whiny this morning and looking for some positive feedback...i realize theres not a lot of ooohhh aaahhh in a 65 gallon but my wife doesnt appreciate my hobby so i gotta fish for compliments here( pun intended) THANKS AGAIN

    I love the size of a 65. They are awesome 3 foot tanks. Yours is lookin good. I gotta get an order placed with rapid man

    yeah, led is a hot debated topic right now but when i look at my 65 and then i look at my bc14 with compact flourescent i know right away that led was the way to go. your tank looks good for sure but before you need bulbs again you best get your LED on lol!

    That's where I'm at right now, I need new bulbs and its pointless to replace them when I can put that money towards an led build.
