I did. But then I got a sandsifter goby and he lives in that area and helps keep it clean. The third power head helps also. I just added another 40 pounds of base rock. So now all that open swim are I had is gone and I don't really like it. I think maybe I could move the rock back a few inches to open up some room in the front but I don't think I will enjoy it as much. I have to much rock through to have anything more than 8 or so inches of open area anywhere. I will post some pictures of what it looks like tomorrow. Hopefully I did not stress my fish out to much. I wanted to go with 2 peaks on either side with an open area and a single rock for my goby in the middle but I just have to much. The new rock I got fits together so nice. My current rock looks really good but doesn't fit together at all I was think maybe a single large peak with open area but still I don't see how I will be able to get the same feel I had before. :(

Me and my dad redid the rock I got back a bunch of open space and the take looks a lot better. There are one or two pieces however that make the tank look crowded. I may set up a 10 gallon nano around x-mas and those two pieces could go in there.
