Will I finally got an upgrade, i'm happy with it. I will start with the stand and refinish it, its Oak so maybe i'll just need to sand it. I will add handles to the doors and add a little support in the inside to handle the weight.

Then I will have to make something to hang the lighting over the tank. I can use my 36" MH lighting and it will cover most of it, but I think it will work out fine.

Will have to figure on how much live sand and rock to add and what will be the safest way to make the switch for the animals living now in the 40b.

bigger is always better (and more expensive) when it comes to aquariums.

Thanks Camkha1234, I ordered me a Rio pump yesterday to use in my Excalibur HOB skimmer that I think I will use over my Corallife Super 65g skimmer. Going to order about 50 lbs of dry rock. Is that dry reef rock plug and play? After reading some builds this one will be quite boring to most, nothing fancy, no automatic this or that, no neat digital gadgets. Thinking of even eliminating the sump, to much added to worry about.
