Yes! and it was purely accidental, when I was pulling the rocks out with them on it, they attached to near by rocks. Like my Eagle Eye Zoas only 2 polyps were left behind, but its enough to start a new colony :D

Will the ballast was bad and according to their test they did there was no issues with the wiring. So that means the new ballast I ordered was also bad  That fixture has got to go. The new T5 bulbs I bought back in May are already turning black on the ends and are ready to burn out
I spent 2 hours online last night shopping for new lights.
What I would like is a 48" fixture with 2 150W MH's and the T5's of course $800  Thought about 6 T5's fixture, but the coral are use to the 250W MH. Not convinced that LED's would be better for my SPS than MH's.
    I just don't know

I did and this was his response ( Please confirm if you still want to receive a refund for your returned ballast.

He totally ignored my complaint about the fixture

Ask him if he can refund the entire light unit. Explain to him that you've gone through 5 ballasts already. Nicely of course.

How do you like 72 bowfront? Does it seem much larger than 40 g to you?

In other words does it satisify the ever lasting desire we all have to go bigger? I really want a 155 bow but they are like $1200.

I like the 72, the main reason I went bigger, cus I really kind of over stocked the 40. Other than the center where it peaks at the bow it's narrow at 13" which does make it hard to find good fitting light fixtures.

Re-test the alk. to verify. It's low so if the number is right, I would add some baking soda to your top off water to slowly raise it.

You know what! Alk is the only test I don't have for the tank, looks like it's time to spend more money :( What would cause the KH to go so low?
