    Here is my 72 gallon bowfront. Freshwater for now, saltwater when I can afford it.

    Thanks for the replies!! Ha ha.........................No, I feed them all large floating cichlid pellets. Believe it or not-that huge goldfish(aka Admiral ShinySides), was once a feeder guppy, only an inch long. He survived Dr. Oscar. No he's as big as him.

    how long did it take "Admiral Shiny Sides" to get that big?

    oscar is about 3 years-shiny is about a year.

    Very cool! I had all sorts of oscars and cichlids before I started a reef, they are very bit as exciting and personable as a SW fish. Just be very careful to never use any type of copper medication in that tank if you want to go to SW later on with it ;)
