I have been working on this for a few weeks. built me a Bar/stand for all my tanks, it will be a bar if I ever
move or get tired of reefing. My tanks are going to be a little higher than most would have them because
I like them almost at eye level.

The stand is L shaped 8' long 5' deep and the top is 26" wide on the long side and 18" on the 5' side.
The frame is built out of 2x6 and 2x4. Notice the size of corner posts, the rear are 6 x 4.5 and the front are 6 x 3.
I kind of over built it, my wife said it will be the ony thing left standing if we ever get hit by a tornado,
this and our screen porch which is built out of 4 x 6's and 4 x 4's!

In back it is a clear span of 7' 6"which is where my sump and fuge's will be. This span was achieved using
a 4.25 steel I-beam like they use in a 53' trailer, it is rated for 4300 LBS, you can see it clearly in this next photo.
The stand when it is done will be more than enough to hold a 210g tank.

Okay now lets fast forward a little bit....

As you can see the Bar/Stand is for the most part done. All it needs is a coat or two of paint and varnish
but other than that it is done. We are going to finish it just like the rest of the room plain with white trim.

I have already transfered all my live stock out of my 16 and the 10 into the 33 long tank you see here.
I moved the 20 gallon from the utility room upstairs to temporary stand behind the bar. I have a
33 long tanks set up as a holding tank for all my coral and some of the fish that are going to go in 75.
The other 2 tanks are my 75 and a 20 long that is the same width as the 56 I bought for my seahorses

Here is another view of the 33 long, the light is the one I built for my 20 long and 10 gallon thats why its so long.
I have a 150 watt Pendant MH that I am going to hang above one side and the other will have T5'S above it.

Here ia a view of behind the bar that is the Sump/Fuge for the 33 gallon. its based on the design that mark (tanked)
showed us how to make at the march meeting, thanks mark! The stand is holding my 20 long will be gone when the 75
is up and running. I put it there because I already have almost every flat surface in the room covered in tanks and
supporting equipment and the wife was looking at me rather funny when I hauled it down there,
I now have 6 running tanks, good thing the basement is mine!

It would be awesome if they were all the same height and then have a canopy that dropped rom the ceiling so it would look almost as a massive inwall setup.

    Good job!

Going to finish it basically the same as the walls in the basement. Couple of coats of varnish and white painted trim. Basement might be all mine but the wife has the last word on how its finished.

actully gave that some thought especially since the 56 and 75 are within an inch or so. But I need to keep the temp low on the 56 since it will house seahorses so it needs to be seperate from the Halides on the 75.

Okay just a little update, I have had the 56 running for 2 weeks now. I am down to 4 tanks (had 7, counted wrong in earlier post)
and my wife isn't looking at me sideway's anymore! Well for at least a few minutes, till I decide to put them all back up!

The 56 which is going to be the home of all my seahorses is up and running. I transfered everything from my 10 gallon, 16 gallon and
29 gallon seahorse tank into it including sand, water and some rocks and some coral into it. Don't pay any attention to top, I am
in the process of finishing the canopy for it, had to use a towel to temporally cover the lights.

Next comes the 75 and the long wait........ but here is some updated photos...
