    well I upgraded from my 20L. to my old 75gal. fresh water tank, I modified a little, removed trim, installed euro bracing, drilled rear of tank and installed beananimal style overflow, 29gal sump, reef octo. XP1000sss skimmer, T-5 lighting, 2X MP10es-w,

    I really hate to sound dumb... but it's an honest question. In removing the trim, do you lose any stability or is the structure or seal compromised in any way? Is the trim purely cosmetic, i guess is what i mean. I really like this look but I'd always been worried about messing something up.

    a top down shot showing what Euro bracing is would help anb above understand, what you did in order to compensate for removing frame

    +1 to this question. I've always thought they use thicker glass on rimless tanks to compensate for not having a trim. Euro-bracing does the same job as, but looks cleaner than, the plastic trim.

    A top-down photo of this would be great.
