Hey thanks -

He really is beautiful, especially when he puts his sails up.

When i got him he wasn't that bright, and kinda orangy. I tried feeding newlife spectrum foods marine formula from bulk reef supply and now he is bright bright yellow.

I feed this food and mysis shrimp once or twice a week for the fish. Coloring on all of my fish has greatly improved just as they promised MARINE FORMULA 1MM 150g Bulk Reef Supply

 

Just added my CuC "booster shot"...

I am probably going to do one more of these minus the pods and the mangroves in like 3 months after i see how this one goes.

Here is what i added:

40 Dwarf Cerith
11 Nassarius Vibex
10 Florida Cerith
10 Blue Leg Hermit Crab*
2 Fuzzy Chiton*
6 Limpets*
10 Nerite Snails (Large)
1 5 Red Mangroves
1 Reef Pods

Almost everything is already moving around. Chitons still havent moved though...

 

Icecap SLR

I installed my Icecap SLRs last night.

There is definitely a noticeable difference in the way everything looks. The light is going down into the tank instead of all around.

Obviously this was the idea ... I got mine from Aquacave for about 90 bucks shipped

So now i have 7 bulbs over my tank:

2 G-mann Aquablue + w/SLR's
2 G-mann Actinic + w/SLR's
2 420 28W actinics
1 10K 28 w BULB

total of 300W t5
