Just from the camera shots,(which never do justice) you can tall a vast difference adding the t5's. I would add them slowly to the tank, 1 bulb at a time and see what kind of difference it makes.

The additional bulbs will be a big help. +1 to dowtish's suggestion. You can cut the light period in have on the new fixture then add an hour every 3 or 4 days if you cannot control each bulb individually.

    Some growth shots

Just want to share some tank updates and some growth shots.

Here's my bird's nest back in April 29. I got it with already a lot of dead branches. Haven't had the time to frag them off yet.

Here it is now. More vibrant color and polyps are all out.

Here's my Blue Acropora, back in April 29. It's wild caught, and you can still see the cuts.

Here it is now. Fully healed.

My purple monti back in April 29.

Here it is now, already thicker and already encrusting:

Here's another acro I got. It used to be violet and white. and was very small in size.

It has shown a lot of growth, and it turned all violet for a time.

But now the bottom has turned green, and only the tips are violet. Not really sure if that's a good thing or if it's a sign that may parameters aren't so great that's why there's discoloration.

    a few more shots..

Here's the very first sps I got. It used to be one big colony with just a few parts left alive. I bought it from the LFS really cheap since it was almost all dead. I fragged most of it, and now I have a few new colonies slowly growing.

Here's a new addition, not really sure what it is. Care to id please?

I also decided to mix and match some zoas.

I fragged some zoas that have already grown too big for the rock, so some sides aren't being hit by light. I fragged them off and placed different types of zoas in 1 frag plug. Hopefully they will grow into a beautiful colony with a variety of colors.

Not really sure what zoas these are either. If someone could help me ID Them please. :)
