No. :( The noise is coming from the 90 degree elbow the water flows into to enter the line to the sump. I think the only solution is to add overflow boxes, even if they're small.

Nicely done!!! Love the stand!! Sorry about the drain noise tho. Unfortunately, I have to agree with insanespain, that with that size of the tank (~75G and up), full siphon method should be taken when you want the silent operation.. (ie: bean animal, dorso, herbie etc) but to achieve this, youd have to re-design the whole drain system. Sorry to add, but Glass-holes overflow might quiet down a bit but not by much either. When I had 29 with the Glass-holes, it was not quiet enough for me.

When I was planning my 90, the silent operation was very important. So I went BeanAnimal. And Id do it again. The loudest thing in my system is my powerhead (VorTech MP40).

If I were to keep it as is and try to quiet down, Id ditch the ribbed tubes, and PVC them all the way. And go from there.

This set up has a lot of potential, and I want you to love it more :)

Thanks! I think I'll change the drains to PVC.

    Merry Christmas!
