Well, this is the "rebirth" of my tank. It is a 75 Gallon. The base and canopy is stained Pine wood to match the rest of my furniture.

Gotta empty this sucker out. Apparently it was being used for storage;D

Reflector for canopy with Daylight and Actinic compact flourescent bulbs.

Base with wet/dry and lighting ballast inside.

I will be adding a Ref. to this set-up. This is the plan with a 10 Gallon Ref.

I'm going to do some work on aligning the doors, adding some handles to the doors, replacing hinges for canopy, painting the back of the tank and plumbing this weekend. I'll be posting pictures as I go. Hope you enjoy! All comments and suggestions are welcome!

Well, It's late but atleast I was able to get something done.

I replaced the hinges for the canopy and installed new handles for the cabinet doors. They're shiny!

I also got the back of the tank painted. I went with a quart of Rustoleom Painters Touch flat Black and used a foam roller. Came out great!

I have to go get some sleep. When I wake up, I'll be going to get some supplies for the build up of the Refugium and if I finish that then I'll get started on the plumbing.

BTW......I seem to have lost the clips that hold my compact lights up and no store near me has them available. Is there anyone that has any ideas on how to hang them?

Nice pics, JohnnyBoy. Did you build that stand yourself?
