I have been working on this Tank for about 2 months now. Thank you to everyone who has helped with my silly questions. I will post some pics. Remember, it is still a work in progress and the fish room should be ready in another week when all the new equipment arrives :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks like you did your homework, very nice system and sump. Looks like a very functional design. Is this your first SW system? If so good job.

    :)

Yes, This is my very first SW tank and my homework was done here on 3reef and from some of its sponsors. The sump is being replaced by an ORCA 3613 and will be in the basement. I ran out of room in that small aqueon and want a fuge. The 3613 should work well and have room for expansion.

Very nice build. Looks like you have been putting a lot of thought into it. One question I have is, have you done a power outage test on it yet? If not I would do one. From the first picture it looks like your returns from the sump may be down to far in the tank and if your power goes out it could cause a back siphon into your sump causing it to overflow and flood your house. You may be fine and it could just be the way I am looking at it in the pic but just something for you to look at if you havent already.

Thanks Yam...I have done the power outage test a few times. I have a siphon break in the overflow. The sump fills up about another inch when the power is cut off.

I never seen equipment with captions. very original. but your clownfish needs and identity check. he looks like a clarkii and he claims he's a false perc.
