Yes, I have test kits for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium.

I would put only 1 tang in the tank. Reduces stress on em, and reduces chances of ich or other unwanted illnesses.

Not sure about the 2 gobys, but if theyre introduced around the same time, they more than likely will claim their own part of the tank.

Make sure to add most docile fish first and the most aggressive last. if possible. I would also go with either the fox face, or flame imo, i think too many fish in a tank, looks cramped. 10 is a lot. Your really pushing the envelope. Not to say its impossible and you have 0% chance of it working. Just think aboout how crammed the tangs, fox, and flame yould get, i would do the kohl and flame personally...

Thanks for the feedback. The more I read about the blue hippo I think I might take this one out. I think that it will get too big for the tank. I was not sure how many fish my tank would be able to sustain so I decided to list this fish that I kind of liked. Then wait for the responses to see which ones needed to be eliminated. If I were to eliminate the blue hippo from my list, what order should I add the fish? Would a month between adding a new fish be ok, or should I go longer?

Got a few small pieces of live rock from my lfs. After I put them in the tank I switched on the red leds and I found this moving around on one of the new pieces. What is it?

Anyone know of any good lfs in the Northwest Indiana area? The only ones that I know of that have a good selection of saltwater are The Ark and Exotic Aquatics.

So far so good. I ran carbon for a couple days to clear up the water. One of the dead shrimp I put in at the start has disintegrated and the other is not far behind. I am still not seeing any ammonia yet. I tested yesterday an there has been no change since I started a week ago. How long does it usually take for the ammonia to start going up? I am noticing some green algae growth on my Pukani. I have added a few more pieces of live rock from my lfs. Should I get a couple crabs to keep the algae under control or wait a little while longer? Here are some pics of some of the latest hitchhikers that I got. Please help identify.

I need some feedback on this crab. I was at my lfs and saw this in their tank. Is this safe for a FOWLR? My wife is creeped out by it, but I love that way it moves around the tank.
