You did a great job on your tank!
I have a pistol in fine sand. I've been giving him snail shells and broken prices of shell to help him build his caves. Once I leave them near his hole I never see them again and I know it helps. His caves get a bit bigger when I add new pieces. :)

Welcome back Annie! You certainly have a cutie there and no wonder your attention has been diverted from the tank. Your rock looks great with tons of coralline growth. Some more frequent TLC should have it up and thriving soon. Congratulations on your baby!

No but he sure does move some serious amounts at times! It's like a small bulldozer :) it's interesting watching him soften the sand with his legs then push it out of his way.

Our journey began the same way. We remodeled our lower level including installing bamboo flooring. Small world. We just finished so now it's time for a tank :)

I have been working to get this tank back in line and I think I am making progress. I have done a total of three 15% water changes over the past few weeks. My film algae issues are quickly disappearing. I still dig the new LEDs and have increased their intensity to 16% B/V, 20% wht/grn/red. Nothing is showing signs of stress from the change. I am moving them up 1% every other day.

I took a trip to the LFS last week and got some new goodies. Nothing gets me more excited about my tank than new corals :)
ORA Red planet acro and a green acro. Maybe I should patent my "dead acro frag rack." :D

Rainbow monti and sunset monti. The sunset has poor PE. it was in an area of higher flow and I think it was a bit too much. I moved it last night after a water change and it still hasn't opened. It is now getting the same light and flow as the rainbow monti, which seems to be doing great.

Assorted zoas and palys. Does anyone know what this green mat like stuff is?

Meteor shower cyphastrea? This was a bit bleached on the top at my LFS. They had it directly under 400w MH, yikes. It has good PE though and seems to be coloring up under my lights.

Fungia? The kid at the store did not know what this was. It was in their zoa frag tank. I asked him how much, he said, "uh, 5 bucks?" Yes please! It has been wide open, but just got bumped by my brittle star as I was trying to take the pic.

Frogspawn. It has been closed since I brought it home :(. It looks like it is trying to split though... Do they stay closed while splitting or is he a goner? Been closed since I bought it Thursday.

Thanks! It is a great size tank. Perfect for viewing. If i had more room I would have gotten a 120, but my living room is tiny and this beast takes up enough space as is. Congrats on the new tank!

It was really spur of the moment to decide to get it. I was going to re home a fish that was getting to big and as it turns out its my girlfriends favorite fish.(coincidence? or planned perfectly?) So I "remembered" that the fish store we were at had some used 90's for sale...........*evil laugh* muahahahaha *evil laugh*
