Just the beginning steps of my tank. Here is just a few pics post leak repair and putting everything back in. I am sooo glad that's over with(stressful week) and no more leaking!! ;D Sadly I lost my Peppermint shrimp with the moving :(. Did buy a small Green tip torch coral and a green brain coral. Not sure about placement of those?? Any tips?

I would get a pair of cleaner shrimp to have a cleaning station for your fish when they get ich or parasites. Keep the torch away from other corals and you can put him on the sand up to mid level. The brain likes more light but start at mid level and raise it if your not happy with the color. Otherwise I suggest you get more live rock so you can raise the rockscape. Do it in an ascending fashion from front to rear and keep 4" away from the front and side glass. Best of luck to you.;)

Cool. Thanks Marlinman. I already have one cleaner shrimp. I am planning on more rock just waiting for money to replenish.

Those are some more unusual dimensions for a tank, at least I haven't seen them before. Nice looking tank so far. What's your lighting setup? Looks like you have two different bulbs.

I have two lighting systems. Each have 1 250W metal halide and 2 65W actinic with blue moon LEDs.

The reason the one side looks different is I temporarily put an old eclipse filter (instead of one of the lighting systems) to help clear the water a bit. That filter only has 2 18w T8 bulbs.
