    Okay so ammonia is 0 and the nitrates are at 10ppm.

    So is the okay to put a tester fish in?

    What are your nitrites at? They need to be 0 first before I would add any fish.

    What a fantastic setup! I would wait a little longer before adding fish...we added our clowns first. They're pretty hardy. I'm trying to remember on my old tank...we might have added a black brittle star before the clowns. I've had the same brittle star for 5+ years. Just stay away from green...they're not reef safe. The serpent stars are also good choices. I have a nice red serpent star (probably for 3+ years) and a blank and white banded serpent star. The red star always comes flying out at feeding time!

    Okay so all my levels looked great. I added a pair of clowns and look to be thriving so far.

    Also I added a bit of a cuc 6snails and 6 hermits.

    I am excited to see some life in the tank after 30 days of watching nothing.
