That's good to know....I was thinking I would have to do a number of small water changes in order to remove them fully.

Nope. You should be good to go assuming your diatoms are going away now. ;D

    First Coral and pic update

I just bought my first corals last week and wanted to share them. Also just a couple updated pics of my tank. The corals I got are 2 leathers and a Zoa (I believe its called something watermelon). I am limited in the corals I can get because I only have power compaqs for lights, but I still was eager to get started so I got a couple easier/hardy corals that were suggested by members on this forum.

    New Coral, New Fish...New Pics

I was feeling bored and it's been a while since I updated this thread so I snapped a couple updated pictures of my tank. As you can see from the pictures the coralline algae has taken over just about everything. I have also added 2 new corals and a pink spot goby since the last update.

Thanks, I am amazed at how much the tank has changed since the start of this thread and the growth in the last two months on the zoa colony and the two Leathers.

It is amazing how times flies by lol. That is one reason why I love taking pics of the tank all time, you get to look back at previous ones and really see how much your tank has developed. It is a nice journey.

Couldn't agree more. You don't even realize the changes as they are occuring because you see them everyday. I guess the same thing can be said about anything in life tho.

    New Pics

I was bored, so I started messing with the camera. Just thought I'd post a couple pics that I thought were cool.
