To be honest with you I have no idea. I do know its a mag 9 return I have two 1200 powerheads and a 36 long sump with a skimmer that has no name on it. I never added anything but the water rocks and sand. I was told to bring a sample of water to Lfs on this Friday. How long does this cycle process take?? Will the shrooms spread to other rocks?? This is my first time ever dealing with saltwater so kinda new to this.

Well, here it is. Cycling ranges from a few weeks to a few months depending on the tank. PLEASE DO NOT ADD ANY MORE LIVE STOCK TO YOUR TANK....

Your starting off right, but too fast. What did this LFS say about your water? they should know about cycling... if not id find another store.

They can spread quite rapidly, but in your tank theyre prolly gonna die. Its 3 days old!!! you need to wait at least a few months until your parameters stable off and become acceptable to accept life.

What lights are on the tank? if its not powerful enough then it wont grow at all.

Do you know about topping off the tank with rodi water?

did you use rodi water to fill the tank, or tap...??

Yes I used the RODI water to fill it also using that to top it off until I find a good place to store my ATO. I purchased the live rock/sand from a got that's tank was already established but I know for sure that when I put them In my tank I don't recall anything being on them. I can't remember the exact name of the lights I will have to look when I get home. I think its four t5 which two r blue and two r white. And a halide I believe. I got my water from the LFS I have to bring it back this Friday to let them sample it since the tank has been running. The guy that assisted me with the setup also put some stuff in there call fritz zyme 9. He told me that would help balance it out he didn't charge me any extra for it. I will Defiently read the article I look for as much literature as i can get.
