Thanks alot guys! I paid $25 for just the tank without a pump or lid from a local...I then bought the Sunpod used for $180 shipped.
They are great little tanks, stinks that discontinued them and the Sunpod :(

The Tiki is the keeper of the reef lol

Thanks! will post more pix soon...I am a pix person

Very nice looking tank! Are you using black sand in it? Most don't use black sand but we are planning on using it when we set up our 200 gallon tank. Any pros or cons to it?

Just the Maxi jet 1200 and I did a DIY media rack for filter floss also a JBJ modular surface skimmer to keep the surface clear :)
I love the black sand and I also used it in my 125g, I see no ill effects from using it. I used the Nature's Ocean live black reef sand and got it Petco.

How is the evaporation with the sunpod? Do you top off manually?

Barbarossa, I top off manually, I measure 2 dixie cups a day lol one in the morning and one at night almost half a gallon and pour it in the back chamber, I also have a fan in the canopy and when I turn it on it evaps more and keeps the temps at 78-79 when it's off it peaks at 81...so I usually leave it off
I keep my salinity is 1.026

Time for some pix, I now have colored stix... My tank just turned 4 months old

green and orange digi (my guinea pig frags) I figured I got these for free from a local reefer so I can try to keep SPS since I hear it's all the rave now a days ;D
